This 1 hour class is designed for first time glassblowers or those looking to get back into it. You will start off by observing a 15min demo of various techniques that show the nature of glass in it’s different states from liquid to a flexible thin strand. Main techniques focused on will be gathering glass (using heat and gravity to create a larger mass) and encalmo (joining 2 colors end to end).

The remaining 45min is hands on and you will be guided through the process of making an encalmo droplet pendant.
